The Central-West region of Brazil, which comprises the Federal District (DF) and the states of Goiás (GO), Mato Grosso (MT), and Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), is the home of the three largest and most preserved Brazilian biomes: the Cerrado, the Pantanal, and the Amazon Rainforest. In addition to its rich biodiversity, this region is internationally recognized for the strength of its agricultural production, which contributed 48.9% of Brazil’s exports in 2024, corresponding to 23.2% of our Gross Domestic Product.
