The main highlight of this work lies in the synthesis of iron nanoparticles through a green process using Eucalyptus gradis leaf extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent. For the first time, this type of material has shown mimetic behavior as a nanoenzyme in the oxidation reaction of o-phenylenediamine in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, establishing an indirect method for peroxide determination. Details are presented in the Article Green Synthesis of Iron Nanozymes Using Eucalyptus grandis Extract and Their Application as Peroxidase-Like Catalysts for H2O2 Quantification by Luísa F. M. Mazzini, Guilherme Mateus Bousada, Gustavo A. Puiatti and Renata P. L. Moreira on e-20230171.
